EVRaid is looking for a detail-oriented Import & Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing operations and end-to-end shipment activities, including supplier coordination, customs clearance, and delivery to factory and warehouse locations. The role requires close coordination with suppliers, customs authorities, finance, and internal departments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and shipment processes from purchase request and purchase order issuance through customs clearance and final delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
- Handle customs clearance activities, including preparation and submission of all required shipping and regulatory documentation.
- Manage shipment insurance documentation.
- Monitor shipment and order status, proactively resolving discrepancies related to quantity, quality, delivery dates, or specifications.
- Prepare and maintain shipment, purchasing, and delivery status reports for management review.
- Handle supplier quality issues, claims, and compensation in coordination with concerned departments.
- Support product research activities by managing samples and securing required approvals.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring accuracy of supplier data and contract updates.
- Maintain complete, accurate documentation and records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles.
- Experience dealing directly with customs clearance, import regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is required.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards.
- Practical experience using ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
