Process and Quality Engineer

  We are looking for Process and Quality Engineer that will oversee and enhance EVRaid’s production processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with both international automotive standards and Egyptian quality regulations. The role will be central to ensuring that all EVRaid products meet performance and safety requirements before release to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and optimize production processes for BMS, powertrain, and related systems.
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems throughout production stages.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process or product nonconformities.
  • Establish and maintain inspection procedures, checklists, and quality reports according to local and international standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS) requirements for electrical and electronic vehicle components.
  • Align manufacturing and testing activities with ES 8690, ES 2625, and other relevant Egyptian EV-related standards.
  • Support product certification activities with national authorities such as NTRA, IDEE, and EOS.
  • Lead implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Manage incoming material inspections, in-process audits, and final quality checks.
  • Conduct process capability studies, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP documentation for new production lines.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with EVRaid’s and Egyptian quality standards.
  • Track KPIs related to quality performance, yield, and rework reduction, and report regularly to management.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in process or quality engineering, preferably in automotive, electronics, or EV manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian quality standards (EOS, ES 8690, ES 2625, etc.) and certification procedures.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / IATF 16949 implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with automotive testing and validation for EV systems.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with R&D and production teams.
