EVRaid is seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep technical expertise in automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) and/or Inverter systems. The Product Owner will own one or more product lines, driving technical direction, planning, budgeting, and execution, while closely supporting engineering teams across system, software, and hardware domains.
This role requires a strong combination of hands-on technical background and product leadership, ensuring delivery of high-quality automotive-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership & Strategy:
- Own the product vision and roadmap for BMS and/or inverter product lines
- Contribute to product planning, cost estimation, and budgeting
- Define and manage scope, priorities, and milestones across product lines
- Ensure alignment with customer, regulatory, and internal technical requirements
- Technical Leadership
- Drive system engineering and architecture for BMS and inverter solutions
- Oversee and contribute to:
- System requirements definition and management
- Software architecture and design
- Hardware architecture and design trade-offs
- Ensure consistency between system, HW, and SW architectures
- Review technical designs and support problem solving across teams
- Execution & Delivery
- Follow up on plan and budget execution
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies across product lines
- Support integration, validation, and release activities
- Ensure automotive development best practices (quality, safety, documentation)
- Team & Capability Development
- Work with team leaders to plan required resources and skills
- Identify skill gaps and prepare or request skill matrices and training plans
- Technically mentor and support engineers across disciplines
- Enable efficient collaboration between system, HW, SW, and test teams
Must Have
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, System Engineer, or Technical Lead in automotive projects
- Strong background in BMS and/or inverter development
- Experience owning or contributing to end-to-end product development cycles
- Technical Skills

- BMS and/or inverter system engineering and architecture
- Embedded software design and architecture
- Hardware design and architecture principles
- Requirements engineering and traceability
- Understanding of automotive development constraints (cost, safety, reliability)
